Time is money, right? More time equals more spent. Well, from my perspective I do not believe this is true. In my experience as a mom, more time equals more money. The time I spend communicating with other moms absolutely increases my ability to save. I am a mom who makes finding a deal a habit, not an exception. And, all moms can vouch for the following fact - if you spend a little time talking with other moms, you are certain to discover money-saving tips with very little effort. It is one of the most hard-earned qualities women develop after having children.
Once you have children, there is a natural tendency to tighten up the budget. Honestly, it gets expensive, but children are well worth the effort to streamline your checkbook. I gladly give up purchasing an item if it means more room in spending toward the needs of my two girls. There are moms out there who fortunately do not have to try as hard to save. And several of us secretly wish we had a little more to go around, so do not take it for granted if your cup runneth over. The reality is, though, in today's economic and financial uncertainty, many more moms are searching for every-day ways to cut expenses and save the bottom line just a little. At the bus stop, in line at the grocery store, or on the phone with a friend, it's inevitable that the conversation will often become about money, in one way or another. All moms owe it to each other to share our penny-wise tips, which are found in different ways, come in so many different forms, and cover common (and uncommon) areas such as: groceries, recipes, crafts, style & fashion, health & beauty, home improvement and technology - and countless more.
I want to connect with moms who can share their expertise in managing finances at home. To coin a common phrase, practice makes perfect. And, with all the daily practice we get doing most of the spending for the household, moms quickly become experts. Whether the purchase is big or small, we can help each other in a pinch! I'm sharing ways to save a buck, and you can share your wealth of knowledge in finding a good deal. Visit my site at http://momsmoneysavingtips.blogspot.com/ for more information.
