Set Your Intention and Practice an Attitude of Gratitude to Grow Business

Set your intention for building business or any other goal or dream you wish to see in your life. Be very clear about what you want. Don’t worry about how all this will manifest. Let go of the control but be open to new inspiration and opportunities. Be unconcerned about the outcome.

I have a story about intention. I have a friend who was a staff minister in our church. She dreamed of being the minister of her own church. In the period of 32 days, she was offered a position as minister of a church in another state, she and her husband sold their house (2 days in a tough market), took the required testing for the new position, said goodbye to friends and family, bought a house in the community of the new church, moved and began ministering shortly after arriving. Her advice was be careful when you set your intention.

An attitude of gratitude can greatly enhance the process of achieving your intention. Be grateful and thankful for all that you have and are. Express that gratitude with emotion. This creates powerful energy and unexpected good things begin happening to you.

To jump-start the process--be grateful for achieving your intention in advance. State your appreciation for your goal as though it were already in your life. Again, feel the emotion surrounding your achievement. This can fast forward your goals toward becoming reality.

Gratitude can be an important tool in helping you to focus on your goals and dreams. It is a high intensity positive emotion that attracts positive events and situations.

My personal experience with gratitude is this: I worked full time when I first started my network marketing business. I started the business because I wanted to do something to help people. My job had very little contact with people and began to feel like a really bad fit for me. I began spending my commute time home being grateful for all that I actually had and for goals and dreams that I didn’t have yet. One of my dreams has been to do my home-based business full time.

First, the act of being grateful on my commute helped me arrive home with a much more positive attitude than before I began the practice. Next, it was announced that my husband’s job was moving to a much more affordable city in another state. Plus, my husband would also receive a promotion and more money. As I write this, all this has taken place and I am very GRATEFUL for this opportunity.

Set your intention. Practice having a positive expectation for achieving your intention. Write out your happiness and joy at having achieved your intention. Visualize your life after achieving your goal. Enjoy the emotions that accompany the visualization. Create a vision board with pictures of the manifestations of your goal or dreams. Have an attitude of gratitude for both realized goals and dreams and unrealized goals and dreams. I can ensure you that wonderful things will begin to happen in your life!
