The events that occurred starting September 15th have changed the way that all Americans are going to do business. In effect this decision, “effectively returns Wall Street to the way it was structured before Congress passed a law during the Great Depression separating investment banking from commercial banking, known as the Glass-Steagall Act.”

This move is going to significantly affect all other types of large corporations and industries. Pharmaceutical companies are definitely going to be affected because they rely on capital funding from these types of corporations. These former investment banks sought out investors to fund these relatively risky drugs that may or may not be confirmed by the FDA.
