I have talked with some people living in the U.S. and they hated the idea that many people in their country have lost their jobs because the companies they worked decided to go to third world countries to get cheap labor. Once I went to a new BPO company in Makati, Philippines and found out that they are hiring just about any kind of profession, including the non-IT related jobs such as Architecture and Translation services.

These kind of outsourced jobs are new here in the Philippines, but India had already been servicing international clients. With them on the lead, the Philippines' BPO industry sees a need to encourage people to learn not just basic English, but other technical skills such as Translation Services, Web Design, Software Development and Search Engine and Optimization. So far only very few companies nationwide offer these kind of services to foreign clients.
