The short answer is zip, zilch and zero. Of course, that's not the completely scientific or well-researched answer, so I'll elaborate.
I continued to investigate the Spyware Nuker downloads online. Two sites warned of potential dangers with the download. In other words, if you download the program, you're quite likely to get some nasty files along with it. That doesn't make sense. The program you're downloading is supposed to protect you from such nasty files. So, now the program is only free for 90 days, and can damage your computer? I don't think so.
From there I went to a review site to get impartial ratings from editors and consumers. Spyware Nuker did not go to the top of the class. In fact, it may need to be held back a year. There are many, many protection programs available that do so much more, and do it for free. Not free for just 90 days, but free for the rest of time. And they received much higher ratings than Nuker.
So Spyware Nuker is a poorly rated, problem-filled program with only 90 days of free usage. That sparks several protection questions in my mind. What guarantees come with this program? After the 90 day free trial, the user must buy the software. What does that purchase include? Will future upgrades on new viruses and infections be available for free, or for a price? Does the purchased version provide technical support?
So far, the information about Spyware Nuker did not seem to recommend it, but to be completely fair, I continued to a non-biased review site to examine editor and consumer ratings. Truth is Spyware Nuker did not fair well. Many, many other protection programs received higher ratings, and many of those were freeware. That means, they are free for all time, not just for 90 days.
If the upgrades aren't free, and the consumer has to pay for the upgrades, Nuker has the consumer at a disadvantage. Only more investment of money will help the consumer, yet he or she is investing in a program that really isn't helpful. So, the consumer has to option to admit defeat and stick with the program, or send out a search party for a crack version.
Technical support, too, is another area for concern. Say you utilize the Spyware Nuker crack, what guarantees do you have that it will work? Who do you turn to if it doesn't? You could lose your entire hard drive and have no support tech to contact. That simply isn't acceptable.
Besides, if the program is legitimate, what in the world is the need for a crack version? The Internet is loaded with protection programs that are free, and offer more services than the Nuker.
Three strikes and you're out. Spyware Nuker doesn't even warrant a first look, much less a second one. Ignore this program and concentrate on the multitude of higher quality freeware programs that are available. Go to CNet, or a similar resource, and check out the protection programs. When you find one that is rated four stars of higher, give it a try. Any of the highly rated programs should readily suit the average home computer user.
Computers that are linked to a company's hardware may require a larger and more complex protection system. That usually means a fee, but also usually means future upgrades and technical support as well.
