Blue Screen of Death

The Blue Screen of Death affects Vista, Win 98, Win XP. There're many causes for the BSOD. It could be due to video drivers being out of date, faulty hardware, or errors in your registry. Most people think that the blue screen crash is caused by virus or trojans, its usually not the case.

When you get the Blue Screen of Death, what happens is that the screen will freeze and turn blue with an error message asking if you had made any changes to your computer software or installed new drivers, programs, software.

Sometimes, just a quick reboot of your computer, and the blue screen error message goes away. If that's the case, you're lucky. The worse that could happen is that you lost your Microsoft word document. Otherwise, if the blue screen crash sympton is persistent, and keeps plaguing you at random times, then, you have a blue screen of death problem at your hands.

From my experience, there're 3 ways to solve this problem.

1. Blue Screen Crash solution for Windows Vista and XP #1:

Do a system roll back. This allows you to restore your windows XP or Vista to its orginal setting, and configurations that worked BEFORE the blue screen error occured. Any conflicts in the registry, or drivers will be returned back to the original compatible state.

2. Blue Screen Crash solution for Windows Vista and XP #2:

Check your RAM. Certain sections of the RAM might be spoilt. It might seem that your computer is working fine, but when the CPU needs to access data from faulty sections of the RAM, that is when the Blue screen error will pop up. Its totally random. So change your RAM.

3. Blue Screen Crash solution for Windows Vista and XP #3:

Check your registry for errors. The registry contains information about everything in your computer, from the hardware printer drivers, monitor drivers, sound card, mother board etc. Over time, the registry can get corrupted when we load our computer with too much softwares, games, applications etc. Installing a good registry cleaner can check this portion of your computer for DLL entry errors, and potentially solve the Blue Screen Death issue along the way, with a boost in computer performance speed!

Hope this helps you!
