Most of birmingham city centre was destroyed during the second world war, and unattractive replacement structures were rapidly built. although, since the 1990s, Birmingham has been undergoingmany significant changes and a number of the post war structures have been replaced. the majority of the city centre is now pedestrianised, and the canals have also been cleaned up to make them look nicer.

Brum has a bustling city centre that is packed with top high-street stores, so it is a exciting location for shopaholics to visit. inspite of the cost, serious shoppers might rather visit the city's Bullring mall. in fact, the Bullring is enormous and boasts 160 stores, which contain some exciting brands such as principles, samsonite and dkny. it has also has a huge Selfridges store and more than 25 restaurants, so you can really spend the whole day there.



If you are lucky enough to spend the night in Birmingham, you should make the most of the city's playful sports. The city has everything from rustic public houses & vip cocktail bars to massive night clubs, which means that you will find that there is something for everyone to enjoy.



Needless to say birmingham has branches of much major hotel chains such as malmaison & radisson sas. This means that you can wind down after your enormous evening out with a great rest.
