In this article I will give you three good pointers to look for when looking into a gifting program. Mind you... these pointers are not the only things to look for, however they are the major things to look for.
#1 Initial Gifting Amount
The initial gifting amount is the deciding factor that 80-90% of people use when choosing a gifting program. There are gifting programs that start as low as $5 and $20. My recommendation is to start where you feel comfortable. Personally, I wouldn't start any lower than $100 simply because the gifting level that you start at is the level you will receive at and I want at least $100 to come my way per gift. Getting at least a nice crispy "Ben Frank" just feels better than a nice crispy "Jackson" especially since you will expend time and energy and sometimes money driving traffic to your website. To put it short and sweet, you want to receive the most for your efforts.
#2 GIFTING ADMIN FEES
Here is where you really need to watch out and pay attention. A majority of gifting programs charge high fees to participate. Many times the fees are as high as their gifting levels or higher! My rule of thumb on this is $40 or less! with no monthly recurring fees!
#3 SUPPORT SYSTEM
Support is something that you can't take for granted. You need to have a host that will teach you how to get traffic. Someone who can get you receiving cash fast and will spend the necessary time needed to get you to where you can function independently.
