Petrol-Electric Hybrid Car
Both an electric motor and a petrol engine are used in a hybrid car. The electric motor is used for low-speed driving and assists the engine in accelerating and traveling at higher speeds. It is powered by batteries that are recharged automatically during braking and cruising. To prevent fuel wastage during idling, the engine is automatically shut off when the car comes to a stop and restarts when the accelerator is pressed.
Petrol-Compressed Natural Gas Hybrid Car
Natural gas is one of the cleanest fossil fuels. Cars that run on compressed natural gas (CNG) emit less air pollutants than conventional diesel and petrol cars.
Petrol-Water Hybrid Car
This is a technology based on splitting water on board a vehicle, and using the resulting Hydrogen and Oxygen gases NOT to drive the vehicle - but to boost the efficiency of its GASOLINE combustion. 100% water cars are not in our scope of activity. This is indeed a Do-It-Yourself technology, specifically designed for beginners with no special tools and very limited budgets. A complete working system can be built at home with basic hand tools for $20-$100, installed in minutes and removed in seconds. No modifications to the engine, computer or fuel injection systems, therefore any backyard mechanic can install it easily.
