A leading car insurance firm that deals with women’s car insurance has conducted a study into the flirtatious behaviour of women when they are driving, which may actually affect car insurance policies.
It was revealed in the survey that a quarter of the females questioned said that they wouldn’t have a problem with being flirtatious (fluttering eyelashes or showing a bit of cleavage) in order to get out of receiving penalty points on their licence.
However, there were 61 per cent of women over the age of 45 who claimed that they would not consider flirting in order to get of trouble if they had been caught breaking the law on the roads.
The car insurance company said that they believe women to be more capable drivers but that they weren’t sure whether or not men realised just how astute women were when it came to getting themselves out of trouble.
They confirmed that flirting was just one of the many techniques that women had used so that they could get themselves out of any trouble.
On a separate issue, another insurance company that deals with car insurance for women claimed that an average of £129 worth of belongings were being left behind in women’s cars each day. These were items such as; books, toiletries, clothes and shoes that they may change into when they are driving.
