Researchers have classed reverse osmosis as state-of-the-art water filtering and marketers sell these filters as the most healthy way in which to filter household water. But is that totally true and is there health through reverse osmosis.
To be fair it is a very good method of ridding the water of the majority of all contaminants that are present in our household water. It is also used to desalinate sea water to produce drinking water.
However, our home reverse osmosis systems not only strip the water of parasites, chemicals and toxins, it also strips it of important healthy minerals such as calcium and magnesium that our bodies need into order to stay healthy.
This is something that any advocate of reverse osmosis water filter systems will not disclose. On top of that it has been proven that the longer we drink water that has no minerals our bodies can get sick.
Jim Scott tells us that - “A complete reverse-osmosis filter system is an under-the-sink obstacle course, stopping nearly every contaminant that tries to take a ride up your cold-water line.”
You see there is no mention at all there of minerals is there. And he goes on to tell us exactly the contaminants that this ferocious filtering system can eliminate. But again you’ll see it doesn’t mention the good minerals.
A complete system, including a pre-filter and a post-filter, strips out lead, copper, arsenic, cadmium, chlorine, giardia, pesticides, salt, trihalomethanes, sulfates, cysts, and nitrates. The reverse-osmosis membrane can also screen out at least some bacteria and viruses.
The idea of using home reverse osmosis systems can be a superior way of filtering far more harmful toxins from the precious life giving liquid that our bodies cry out for if it left the minerals in it.
The water is forced through the first pre-filter to clear out the sediment and then passed through a cellophane like membrane which catches the smaller molecular structures, but even before it finally comes gushing out of the tap it goes through a third carbon filter just to make sure that everything (and I mean everything) has disappeared and only true clean pure water resides.
The problem is that although the water looks perfectly clear, has no odious smell or taste it is not very good if the water that we are consuming day after day cannot actively absorb the toxins and flush them out of our system is it?
To back up what I have said Zoltan P Rona Mc Msc has been practicing medicine for 19 years and as has had the opportunity of seeing the effects on patient’s health when they drink different types of water from non-filtered to bottle to various types of filtered.
The ideal water for the human body should be alkaline and this requires the presence of minerals like calcium and magnesium.
Here is a warning that is given by Dr Zolton. ... “Disease and early death is more likely to be seen with the long term drinking of distilled and RO (reverse osmosis) water. Avoid it except in special circumstances.”
A few things to think about there isn’t there. OK then you decide for yourself is there health through reverse osmosis?
Remember that if you already have home reverse osmosis systems, you need to turn that listless water into alkaline PH balanced water. There are filters that can give you this effect.
