Old Diaries

I have 9 years of diaries of a woman from the 1930's & 1940's. She dated a married business man from Louisville, Kentucky. He paid for her to attend The University of Louisville. She helped him update his Stock Market Charts. They saw shows in theaters every day. He was proprieter of Swiss Cleaners. A chain of 9 stores in the Louisville area. He also owned The 4th Street Amusement Center which included theaters such as The Rialto and The Strand. For The Kentucky Derby, she would party with the celebrities that were in town for the derby. A few of the names mentioned are Jack & Mary Benny and the Don Ameche's. She had Bing Crosby's phone # along with some others. In the later years of the books, she developed a drinking problem. A kept woman from the 30's & 40's with the people she associated with, can you imagine. I have spoke to my attorney who informed me that there would be no liability on my part as I purchased the books at the local flea market here where I live. I would only be repeating what was already wrote in her words. Please let me know if anything can be done with the diaries.
Thank you,
Sarah Salings
