Haanel's The Master Key System. By 1933, after close to
200,000 copies sold, it was banned by the Church. It was
said that this book inspired Bill Gates to quit Harvard and
built Microsoft. "The Secret" was no secret to the rich and
famous. It's been going by different names. Every other
generation feels the need to rename it. To make it their's.
But changing the name doesn't change the idea.
The concept of "positive thinking" was the last topic and
the "Law of Attraction" is the newest. But the focus is
still the same.
What you think will happen, will happen. Your thoughts will
manifest themselves into your reality. The words change, but
not the meaning.
Focusing on negative things will cause these negative things
to become reality. If your life and mind are filled with
anger, hate and dissatisfaction, you will find yourself
surrounded by those very same things.
Focus on the love, happiness and being grateful for what you
have now and you will find your life being filled with these
positive good things.
Just wishing for the good things in life will not make them
magically appear right before your eyes. It's a learning
process in which you teach yourself to change the way you
think.
The average human mind tends to focus on the negative and
despair. Fears and doubts, whether real or imagined fills up
much of our thought process. This is hardwired into our
survival instinct. And since this happens at the unconscious
level, we don't even notice these negative thoughts
surfacing to our minds.
The Law of Attraction is about shifting your thoughts from
the negative to the positive. Regardless of it's name, the
result is the same: Improving your daily life through your
thoughts.
