Canon Inkjet Printers - Print Laser-Quality Pictures Using Pixma iP4500

Canon inkjet printers - The Canon Pixma iP4500 is a stylish printer that brags both a 5-color ink system and a 4,608-nozzle print head to render wonderfully vivid color along with bold, laser-quality text. How does it work? The print head releases precision droplets as small as one picoliter leading to a breathtaking 9600 x 2400 color dot-per-inch (dpi) resolution as well as a genuinely special degree of detail.

You can indulge your creativeness because the user-friendly iP4500 renders many options . You get 4 dye-based inks plus a pigment-based black ink, the alternative of printing two-sided documents to save paper, and the ability to print directly from your infrared-enabled mobile camera phone. Merely shoot an image with a PictBridge-ready digital camera or DV camcorder then connect and print -- it's that easy. And to make sure your fave photos look their best, the inbuilt automatic image-fixing feature via Easy PhotoPrint EX also assists in ensuring that each photo is as sharp and vibrant as possible.

What Other's Say

I purchased this device a little over a month ago to replace a 9-year old HP Deskjet printer. I was really sad to see it go and wondered if the new, inexpensive printers could match up to the performance of the older one. After much research I resolved to give the Canon Pixma a try. The printer has a flowing black and gray design. It is a lot larger than I thought but my table is very long so it doesn't look out of place next to my Sony Vaio LT Desktop. But if you have a small space, this printer may take up too much space.

Ease of Assembly: I meet a few problems with Vista recognizing this printer at first and had to run set-up a few times before the software driver was completely installed.

Performance: This printer is really fast! So fast you would almost think you were abandoning performance for efficiency but that is not the instance with this printer. I have used it for basic black text and Internet printing as well as graphic-heavy school projects and images and it has ran great in both instances. Overall, I am very glad with my purchase. It is a great machine for home printing projects like basic text, presentations and images. - Meloney Dillingham

Searched around for a good price on this model. I am completely satisfied with it. Not being "savvy" about setting up computers and printers, I was able to get it up and functioning in very short time. The print quality is very good and it's not noisy. - B. Carney

I used a Pixma iP4000 printer and was satisfied with it until it broke out roughly 2 1/2 years after I purchased it. I have just bought the iP4500. Essentially it is similar with iP4000 and am quite satisfied with it. It looks to be faster than the iP4000 and the color images are excellent. I would recommend this printer to everyone. - J/M
