Adsense is an online advertising program that works in three ways to provide a service to three separate groups.
? Product and service providers at the front end.
? Webmasters in the middle.
? Potential customers at the back end.
Product and service providers.
Internet marketing can be a slow and laborious task, involving a lot of research and with no guarantee that a campaign will be effective. Finding high traffic link partners and posting adverts on relevant sites takes up a lot of time and resources that could be put to good use elsewhere.
Adsense deals with this by taking the adverts to the webmasters that run sites. Anyone can have an adsense campaign running on their website. So an advertiser's job becomes much easier and they can concentrate on creating effective adverts.
All they really need to do is set up an adsense account, post their ads to the account and agree a fixed price for each advert. Job done.
Webmasters.
Adsense is a fantastic program for anyone with a website. You can instantly integrate targeted advertising campaigns into your web site pages and see almost an immediate return. Because although adsense campaigns are free to set up and run on your web sites you do get paid. PPC (Pay Per Click) means that you can create a substantial income from adsense advertising campaigns from people clicking on the adverts on your web site. "Aha", you say, "but how do you know they will click on your adverts?" Well, you don't. But people do click on adsense adverts and a lot of people make money from running adsense campaigns. So it does work, so long as you get it right.
Potential Customers.
Naturally occurring as web site traffic, these are the visitors that adsense campaigns are targeted at. When surfers type in a search term in an engines search bar the most relevant sites are listed for the search criteria they entered. If the sites they choose are also running adsense campaigns any advert that is clicked creates a payment for the webmaster and takes the potential customer to the site running the advert.
Hey presto. Adsense does its job. The three requirements are satisfied and the front, middle and back end receive the service they required.
