Winston Churchill

Sir Winston Lenard Spencer is born 1874. After an experience of many years he reaches the appointment of Prime Minister of Great Britain twice (1940-1945, 1951-1955). Since 1900 he is a Member of Parliament of the Tory party but not for a long time. Since 1904 he is a supporter of the Liberals. In the beginning of the twenties he becomes a conservative.

Little by little Churchill collected a rich experience and passes over a number of ministerial appointments. He made a start as a Minister for Internal Affair for a year (1910-1911). He is twice a First Lord of the Admiralty (1911-1915, 1939-1940). This is the Highest Organ of the navy administration of Great Britain. Later Churchill becomes a Minister of Military Supplies (1917-1918). One year later (1919) he is a Minister of the Aviation (until 1921). The experience of Churchill does not cease. During the period (1921-1922) he is a Minister of the colonies and two years later he is a Minister for Finance (1924-1929).

As a leader of the Tory party Churchill unites the efforts of the countries from the antifascist coalition Second World War (the SU, the USA, Great Britain, Ethiopia, France, China, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Philippines and others) for a victory over the "The Ost" (Germany, Italy, Japan and their allies). He raised the slogan "Victory at all costs". Besides all the rest, what is not in the least, Churchill is also a carrier of the Nobel price of literature (1953).

Sir Winston dies in 1965. As a conclusion we could say that such a person can be an excellent example for the politicians today. Could they boast of similar biographies? But the more important is, if one could pass them a vote of confidence to govern so long and consistently.
