& Friends rolls through Canada, with a new production entitled Thomas
& Friends Live! Thomas Saves the Day

Thomas
& Friends, a live stage show adapted from the popular long-running children's
series of the same name, is set to hit Canadian stages starting in September
of 2008.

The children's play, entitled Thomas
Saves the Day, features an interactive and kid-friendly atmosphere, which
is sure to excite any pre-schooler. The storyline involves a huge storm hitting
the town of Sodor, leaving it up to Thomas, Percy and others to save the day,
just in time for the town's annual Magic Lantern Festival. The show is 90 minutes
long and includes human actors, as well as unique large-scale talking trains,
which resemble everyone's favorite characters from the show. Themes addressed
in the play include cooperation, collaboration, friendship and discovery.

Since its debut in 1984, Thomas
& Friends has gained popularity with fans of all ages. In 2002, the television
series debuted as a live stage show and 16 years later, everyone's favorite
trains prepare to make history once again, by visiting Canada. The Canadian
tour will begin in Ontario in September and finish off in B.C in early November.
