Not sure what’s happening with me on this one, but it seems like the more I listen to it, the better Consequence Of Chaos gets. Consequence Of Chaos stated simply is one of Al DiMeola’s best CDs to date.
Consequence Of Chaos opens with an outstanding track, San Marco, that I suspect will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.
Consequence Of Chaos has a nicely varied, mix of 15 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly talented artist. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They’re all here.
Overall Consequence Of Chaos is an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is most definitely a worthy addition to any Jazz collection. Truly an outstanding Jazz CD. One of those that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb.
While the entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 6 - Sanctuary, track 10 - Just Three Words, and track 15 - San Marco (Vecchio).
My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - San Marco. Wow!
