Review of the Blink 182 CD Blink 182

Not sure what’s happening with me on this one, but it seems like the more I listen to it, the better Blink 182 gets. Blink 182 put simply is one of their best CDs to date.

I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD for review that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Blink 182. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Blink 182 has a pleasantly varied, mix of 14 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly gifted musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

This is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it my highest recommendation. It’s quite simply great listening. A must buy if you're even mildly into Rock music.

While this entire album is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 5 - Stockholm Syndrome, track 12 - All Of This, and track 14 - I'm Lost Without You.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Feeling This. What a nice track!
