Dog training can be fun

Alot of people decide that they would like to train their dogs but normally they end up either not having the knowledge and or time to execute the task in a proper manner. I myself am the proud owner of a Labrador Retriever(anyone who knows the temperment of a lab knows this struggle lol) and he was very hard to train and stubborn. Within this article i may refer to my lab but this doesn't for any reason mean that it doesn't apply to your breed because with patience and the proper know how any dog can be disciplined ;) . Basically when i first got my lab as a puppy i was already a decent trainer in my opinion as i had helped train and house train dogs for other members of my faimly. First off when training a dog you need to find out what problems need to be assessed. Will he/she sit, stay, come, heel on command? The first step in making progress is finding out what the SOURCE of the problem is this means that you have to take up as much time as possible with your beloved pet and try to understand what they like dont like and what their needs are. It may seem impossible as you are human but your relationship with your pet will be that much stronger as you begin to know each other better.
