One of biggest health issues for many people today is obesity, or problems with weight gain. Being over weight can cause many health problems, such as diabetes, back pain, joint pain, depression, heart attacks, strokes, etc.

A healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise is a must to keep off the excess weight and to stay healthy, but these are the two requirements that most people seem to have a problem with.

Weight loss is a multi-million dollar a year industry and many offer a "quick fix" touting weight loss without dieting or exercise by popping a pill. And, most fail. Any weight that is lost is quickly regained, usually with some additional pounds.

Here is a folk remedy regiment that has a growing following because it seems to actually work. It does require some modification of dietary habits from excessive junk food intake, but only simple exercise such as taking a walk and getting some fresh air once a day at least 4-5 times a week.

This is called the "lemonade" detox fast. Take the juice of half a lemon, some REAL maple syrup or molasses, and a 10th of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Mix in about 10 to 12 ounces of water and drink this 6 to 10 times daily for at least 21 days. You eat nothing else during this time.

The only other thing you will want to ingest is a laxative type tea and the salt water "bath". Do one cup of the laxative tea every night before bed and do the salt "bath" when you wake up.

The salt bath is 2 teaspoons of SEA SALT to mixed with room temp. water. You drink this in the morning when you wake up. Make sure you have at least 2 to 3 hours in the morning before going out into the world as you will be in the bathroom for most of that time. This will clean and detoxify your body making it work more efficiently.
