Luxury watches have long been the domain of the rich and famous. When one considers the price tag attached to some of these timepieces, this should come as no surprise. I have amassed a decent collection of quality timepieces in spite of my lack of wealth and fame, but that is a story for yet another time. If you have even the slightest interest in a top quality timepiece, I have compiled a list of my recent favorites. Read on, if you want to know what time it is.

I have always been a massive fan of Franck Muller. His tasteful designs and unparalleled craftsmanship have established him as one of the top watchmakers of our time. My personal favorite is the Banker Chronograph. It is constructed from brushed stainless steel, and it has four ivory sub-dials. The band is made from crocodile, and matches my shoes perfectly. Sean Connery was recently spotted wearing one on the set of his new film. You can have one, too….for about 22K.

Another one of the finest watches I have ever seen has to be Jaeger-Le Coultre's Master Chronograph. This watch is absolutely stunning! It has a polished white gold case, with a brown crocodile band. Jaeger Le-Coultre produces some of the finest timepieces on the market today. Just ask Robert DeNiro! He was wearing one at the Tribeca Festival this year. This watch sells for around 20K.

I am also very fond of the Rolex Daytona. With the salmon mother-of-pearl face and engraved tachometer bezel, this watch is impressive even by the Rolex standard. As a side note, this is the only true chronograph in the Rolex line-up. Russell Crowe apparently wears one for diving. This amazing timepiece can be yours for around 20K. If you are able to find one, I would recommend snatching it up. These have been flying off the shelves for a few years now.

There is another watch that I am in love with, but I don't think I could get away with wearing. I am referring to the 5 Time Zone Watch from Jacob & Co. It is a stellar watch, don't get me wrong. It just has a little too much "bling bling" for my taste and style. It is amazing nonetheless. David Beckham has been photographed wearing one on a number of occasions. I am particularly taken by the creative use of color on this watch. This is high style, my friends. For 13K, you can be just like Becks! Well….just about.
