On A Mission is the latest release from Trick Pony, and I can only think of one word to describe this CD… AWESOME!

This one will grab your attention right from the start with On A Mission and won't let go until the very last note of the very last song Fast Horse, which by the way is another great track.

On A Mission is a pleasantly varied, mix of 12 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly outstanding musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

Overall On A Mission is an outstanding release. Quite possibly Trick Pony's best to date. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you're even mildly into Contemporary Country music you'll enjoy this CD.

While this entire CD is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 2 - Nobody Ever Died Of A Broken Heart, track 3 - I'm Not Thinkin' Straight Anymore, and track 8 - Leavin' Seems To Be The Goin' Thing.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 4 - Love Is A Ball. This is a great track!
