The other day I was feeling bored sitting at home and not having anything to do. I had finished reading all the books that I had with me and they were showing some stupid movie in television. It was then I decided to go through my photo album and the first picture that stared up at me was the class photo taken when I was in class 5. Some of my classmates were staring at the camera with an innocent expression, some us had the awestruck expression while some had a broad grin pasted on their face. I distinctly remember that this picture was taken on teacher’s day; it is celebrated on the 5th of September every year. There used to be a huge occasion with celebrations, giving out cards and gifts and seeking blessings of our teachers. Teacher’s day is approaching and I can’t help but feel nostalgic about the whole thing. Today the world has undergone many changes, but celebrating occasions like teacher’s day remains a constant thing.
