Printing today is one of those things you take for granted. Even my five year old daughter is not in the least bit surprised that she can do some pictures on Photoshop and within minutes hold them in her hands on shiny photo quality paper.
Home printing is that sort of luxury, it is generally low usage and high quality so in choosing a home printer one does not overly fret about printing speeds, nor I must admit, take such careful notice about cost per page - as one prints out a page every day or so then a penny or two per page doesn't really affect the equation so much.
In direct contrast, in the economy driven workplace, print costs, speed and efficiency are a must. In a day when many business raise cross-departmental invoices it is more important than ever to cut expenses in resources and manpower in all activities.
A good office printer will need little attention, it should be able to act unmonitored, unheard and unseen; it should be able to receive print jobs over the network and have them ready for collection with minimal time and effort. Naturally there will also be a need for quality, be it for internal memoranda or client letters. Although my home inkjet printer will deliver the quality needed for the workplace, it would fall well short in terms of economy, speed and efficiency.
A colour laser printer will deliver all of the above. Konica Minolta Printers are one of the world's leaders in Colour Laser Printing. The company has two integral principles governing its manufacture of printers (Colour Laser, Mono Laser and Multifunction Printers) :
To constantly strive to develop the world's most advanced technology and to strengthen our ability to produce revolutionary ideas.
To seek through all our activities to create better value and new solutions for our customers.
Konica Minolta have vast experience in delivering quality printing solutions to businesses, take for example the Magicolor series and the Konica Minolta Magicolor 7450, this printer, winner of the prestigious 2007 Mac World Award, will print up to 25 A4 pages a minute in full colour, slowing to a fast 13 pages a minute for full colour A3 print jobs. You can view the cost per page print economy on the Konica Minolta 7450 cost per copy but, suffice it to say that this machine will cover virtually every aspect of an office's printing needs.
