What is Attraction Marketing

Have you heard the term attraction marketing? Attraction marketing is referred to as the new school way of doing marketing and building your online network marketing business. Unlike the old way of building a downline in a network marketing company where you have to make a list of people you know and chase them to look at your network marketing opportunity; attraction marketing will attract people to chase you wanting to look at what you have to offer.

When people think network marketing, they think and are reminded of the old school way of building a network marketing. This is the problem and what has given network marketing a bad name. You see with the old school way of doing network marketing you were taught to do things such as write a list of 100 people you know and contact them about your business. The first problem with that is that these people have not raised their hand with interest in owning a business never mind your business. These people feel like you are chasing them and think they are going to have to do the same thing if they go into business doing what you do.

Later in the years people discovered that they can go to the cold market and not contact all their family and friends. Network marketers learned that they can then buy home business opportunity seeker leads and contact them about their home business. The problem with this is that most of these people are tire kickers and not really interested in what you have. You end up having to chase these leads too, never mind the fact that these people do not know you and have not asked you to contact them.

So the solution and new way of marketing is to use what is referred to as attraction marketing. Attraction marketing works like having a magnet that attracts people to you wanting what you have. These people then pick up the phone and call you personally asking you about your business. Attraction marketing allows network marketers to build a relationship with a complete stranger online 24 hours a day without even chasing that person. You are able to create a know, like, and trust factor relationship with a potential prospect first before they decide to even call you.

The first tool that I use in attraction marketing that enables me to build a know, like, and trust factor with people is my website. This is not just any website but a website that tells my story. This website will show some dirt on me and show to my potential prospect that I am too a real person. People are looking to do business with people who are transparent and tell the truth about themselves without hype and lies.

The next very important tool I use is an autoresponder that will send follow up emails to my prospects that opt in. I will send articles and sales letters to the opt in list and always be directing people back to my website to learn more about me. Then eventually these peole will see my name more and more and then get to know me more and more and want to pick up the phone and call me, or even just send me an email saying how much they relate to my story. People like to do business with those they can relate to, and this is how I can attract people to ask me about my business instead of chasing tire kicker leads or friends and family.
