The foods commonly served today reflect the myriad of cultures that went in to making this country, and it’s not unusual to be served dishes which have their roots in Greek, Turkish, Lebanese or Palestinian dishes. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the Turkish coffee commonly served all over Egypt. Made from finely powdered beans, the coffee is generally served in a demitasse cup.
