The casino at Wynn Las Vegas Resort has an impressive variety of table games and slot machines.
The Red Card - Unlike other casinos, your room key is also your rating card for the casino. When you check in, make sure to inform the attendant if you have already arranged to open an account. Make sure to give your "room key" to the dealers at whatever table you play at (blackjack, craps, roulette, etc.) so that they can track your play. Before you check out of the hotel, go talk to a casino host and ask them if they will comp your food or hotel room costs based on your play. They will comp your food, spa charges, room cost, and other expenses if you give them enough "play." There's no reason to pay for more than you need to, and if you can get a free meal or a free hotel stay based on your play, it's an extra bonus. All they can do is say no, so I highly recommend you at least check with a host. So far, Wynn Las Vegas has been generous in providing comps. On my recent stay, I gambled about 5 hours of time with an average bet of about $125, and they comped my $350 room as well as about $50 worth of my food. Only time will tell whether this practice will continue.
Table Games - Table games are located in the main casino at Wynn Las Vegas and include traditional and contemporary games, like Blackjack, Big 6, Craps, Caribbean Stud, Roulette, Let it Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow, 3 card poker, and casino war. The Baccarat room features Baccarat, Blackjack, and Roulette. As the seasons allow, Blackjack may also be played poolside at the Cabana Bar and Casino. This is a great experience. I highly recommend it.
Slots – Wynn Las Vegas offers guests a large variety of slot machines to play. Guests may begin playing slots for as little as a penny or as much as $5,000 per game. None of the slot machines at Wynn's Las Vegas accept or payout in coins. All machines use the new voucher system. Although this high tech system is more convenient than coins, it is strange that Wynn does not offer coin-operated 50 cent slot machines for Blackjack players to deposit the 50 cent pieces from their Blackjacks and surrenders.
Poker - The Poker Room at Wynn Las Vegas offers a variety of games and limits to suit all levels of play. The games are generally offered at limits ranging from $3/$6 up to $100/$200. Higher-limit games are often available for the more adventurous player, and Wynn Las Vegas offers pot-limit and no-limit games.
