Armani Hotel Dubai, which is located in Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower, will open on March 18th 2010, it has been announced.
Dubai Tour Company, a leading business and leisure tour operator in the emirate, confirmed the date after noting that the hotel will serve as a further draw to tourists and business interests in Dubai, as well as contributing to the resurgence of the
Dubai property market.
The hotel is the first to be launched under the collaboration of Giorgio Armani and Emaar Properties and will feature the designer's "signature style" in each of its 160 suites and guest rooms.
"It will also serve people with eight unique dining experiences. Along with delicious culinary the hotel includes Armani/Privé, a hip and upscale lounge and world's first in hotel Armani spa. Armani Hotel Dubai adds in to the list of luxury hotels in Dubai," observed Dubai Tour Company.
Last week, HotelsCombined.com, a leading hotel search engine, said that Dubai will be among the top five international destinations for US tourists next year, Emirates Business 24/7 reported.
Burj Kalifa, the world's tallest tower in the heart of Downtown Dubai, is set to welcome its first residents during an orientation programme for the homeowners of Armani Residences, located on levels nine to 16 of the tower. The luxurious accomodation represents a further step for property investment in
Dubai's hotel apartments.
The Armani Residences, which include 144 private apartments personally designed by Giorgio Armani, are close to completion. The handover of the residences will be followed by the opening of the Armani Hotel Dubai, which also occupies several levels of Burj Khalifa.
According to Emaar Properties, Burj Khalifa's developer, the handover of apartments will begin at the start of March.
Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Emaar's managing director, said: "Reflecting the essence of Burj Khalifa, all the homes have been designed to the highest standards and will offer an unparalleled lifestyle choice for residents."
Downtown Dubai has been described as the new heart of Dubai and encompasses the Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest shopping and entertainment centres, several hotels, offices and homes.
