Being an Internet Marketer, that is if you are an Internet Marketer and you are reading this, I am sure you have, just as I have, been exposed to all kinds of offers and solutions to generate a constant flow of traffic to your website or affiliate program. Some of those offers have been tremendous, yet out of your allowed budget. Some have just been too time-consuming and confusing. Others are not worth the click of your mouse.

Writing articles and having relevant article content that points back to your website or programs is by far one way, if not the best way, to generate a constant flow of traffic to your website or affiliate programs. Not only will writing articles and having relevant article content boost your traffic, it will also cause you to get listed on the best search engines - free of charge!

Here are a few suggestions on how to design your articles to best reach and satisfy the targeted audience of your choice.

(1) Keywords: Keywords are very important to your article, and this is something you should be conscious of as you write your articles. I have found that writing articles and being keyword conscious works hand-in-hand. So make a list of keywords for your article and use them throughout your writing.

(2) Keyword Density: Keyword density is having your keywords or keyword phrases strategically placed throughout your article. Be sure that you dont use your keywords or keyword phrases too much, or the search spider will consider it as spamming and kick it out. Also make sure you don't use them too little or the search spider will consider it not relevant.

Keywords and keyword density is widely overlooked by many. It is said that 85% of prospective traffickers use search engines to find what they are looking for on the internet. They are doing this by typing in keywords and keyword phrases and this means potential traffic for you and me if we are key-word conscious when writing our articles.

(3) Good Article Content: Good article content will surely cause you to have a boost in traffic to your website or affiliate program. A good article will be entertaining, it will provide relevant information, and will assist in meeting the needs of the readers. Here's a little side note: People have a tendency to respond very well to facts, figures, and statistics, so try giving a few whenever possible.

(4) Resource Box: Your resource box is also very important, even more so than writing a good article. The resource box is what makes your article complete, it's like having a permanent advertisement placed in the classifieds. When writing your resource box be sure to make it relevant to your website or your program. This is how most of your traffic will be directed from your articles to your website or affiliate program.

Your resource box should include: (a) A nice catchy or relevant phrase. (b) Your Name (c) Your Website or affiliate URL, and other contact information.
