This whole world is full of wonders, thrills and excitements. One must

not forget the fact that there are many kind of peculiar aspects as well.

They might be funny, weird and stupid. But still things of this sort are

prone to occur often.

One such peculiar thing that one would come across is a person who

is affected by means of anatidaephobia. The name might seem like

something scientific but the meaning of it is really stupid.
Anatidaephobia means fear developed by a person that thinks he/she

is being watched by a duck. Seems really funny, isn't it. Many people

just ask how a person could develop such kind of fear of a bird which

is often harmless.

The answer is pretty simple. What would we usually do to frighten the

children so that they don't do any kind of silly activities? We just say

to them that if they don't obey the words then they would be caught

by geese or a duck. So this fear usually runs out of the child as it

grows.

But in certain cases the child may still develop the fear further as it

grows, there by leading to all sorts of trouble. People affected by this

disease develop various symptoms which can be varied from person

to person.

Most common symptoms are nausea, perspiration, muscle tension,

dry mouth, anxiety developed due to fear, panic attacks and so on.

Cure for this disease is possible not merely by means of medicines,

but by means of developing self confidence to fight out the fear.
