Then there is the Edison National Historic Site where you can experience the home of Thomas Edison. Go back in time and explore the history by tracing your ancestral line at Ellis Island National Monument. The Getaway National recreation area has swimming, boating, fishing, team sports, cycling and nature study and so much more for those that like to explore. There is Morristown National Historical Park and New Jersey Coastal Heritage trail to explore.
And a truely magical and special place to visit is the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve. Then for the more adventurous there is hot air ballooning which is a must for those who have never been swept off the ground.
