What Bloggers Want For Christmas

When it comes to Christmas gift-giving, you
pride yourself on being "different". You will
never understand the willy-nilly shoppers,
flitting from store to store, grabbing just
anything off the shelves in order to scratch
another name off their list. Have they no shame?

You imagine the recipients of such foolish
actions with their puzzled expressions on
Christmas morning. Wondering how one of their
closest friends got the idea they ever collected
Barbie dolls. Heck, they didn't even play with
them as a little boy. OK, there was that one time...

One thing about these fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants
shoppers. They aren't as stressed as you!
You give such thought and study to your selections.
Family and friends are astonished how seemingly psychic
you are.

This holiday, psychotic is more like it. It had to
happen sooner or later. You've run out of ideas.
Your reputation will be ruined.

Take a deep breath. Maybe this can help. With
blogging becoming a virtual way of life for so
many, I'm betting you may have a blogger or two on
your Christmas gift list. Because they come in all ages,
believe me. Have you read your 84 years-old Aunt
Helen's blog? It's not just about recipes.

Whatever their blog's theme, many have added Adsense
to the weblog. With the hope of earning extra money.
How popular a gift-giver would you be if you gave
them a way of earning even more money from their blog?

For example, consider the bloggers on your list. Are
any of them university students? Think of tuition
costs. Anyone living on a fixed income? Any with bills,
mortgages, car payments? Teenagers needing extra money?
You get the idea. We all have bills and responsibilities
to meet. So, if any of them happen to write a blog,
you may be saving your reputation and becoming the toast
of the holiday season.

And, if they own a blog, it's a safe guess they've
heard of eBay! The #1 e-commerce site in the whole
wide world. What if they had a way to combine the
power of eBay with their weblog? What if it were
easy to accomplish? What if there was outstanding
support when they had questions or needed guidance?

Now doesn't this idea appeal more than the assembly-
needed thing-a-ma-jig you almost bought yesterday?
Instead of wary looks on Christmas morning, imagine
eyes lighting up when they find out what you've given
them. When they think of the possibilities...

*an innovative way to make money

*a user-friendly tool to market eBay's inventory

*ability to customize ebay's products with their theme

So let the unimaginative gift buyers continue to make
you look good. You've just been given a better idea. Who
knows? You may even want to grab one for yourself!
