Condoms Fatigue or Prevention Fatigue

It is a medically professional term used for those people who becomes weary of using condoms, or who do not want to use condoms anymore. This is a psychological phenomena, rather than physical. Human nature is tending to break the restrictions. Constant fair of HIV and other diseases, pressurize people to behave in adverse conditions. Despite of the promotions of sexual safety measures, the increasing numbers of HIV and STD cases are at high rise. Be it a normal or in gay relationships, the number is increasing. Gonorrhoea, syphilis, is spreaded in many folds and the number of these cases is increasing day by day. A research study of British Medical Journal reported the significant rise of gonorrhoea in European countries, among the man to man relationship, in 2002. Same with the syphilis cases, where the figure of 132, in 1995, has shoot up to 326, in 2000. The main reason of this out-break is unsafe-sex. Inspite of knowing some people do not stop having unprotected sex with their partner. It is amazing to know that, after all the policies governments make and all the safety hue and cry is there, it is still increasing. The term 'Condom Fatique' describes the weariness and uneffectivness of the safer sex policies

Now the governments are looking for some more preventive methods, other than the condoms. The gay relationship is at high rise, so are the HIV cases among them. Some surveys are trying to establish the theory of counseling. They believe that in these cases counseling is helping. People are encouraged to talk about their fears and discomforts. They are been telling that the condom is really safe and it can save them from the HIV or STDs. And if they are already suffering than it can save their partners from getting infected. These surveys show that these counseling are really working. People have started believing that if they are a little accommodating, condom fatigue can go. If they feel uncomfortable using it, they can always tell their partner to use female condoms instead. These are equally safe and stop the infection from transfering.

The fact is that you're making a choice, matters a lot in your life. One unprotected or unsafe act can give you the killer disease. One step towards safety will assure you of a great safe sex life. Choice is yours. It is never too late.
