Creative Lead Generation with IVR - Its Time to Wake Up.

Today I was talking to one of our sales execs regarding what one of our clients is doing to market their services and I thought you might find this thought provoking.

This company is inviting its customers, and virtually anyone who visits their web site, to register for a phone call remainder service. A FREE service.

? The Subscriber provides their telephone #, e-mail address, etc and a received user ID & Password to use the service.
? The subscriber receives an e-mail, to confirm the activation ? this ensures that it's a valid e-mail address.
? And it is ready to set-up reminders any time they want by logging in to their web site.
? The subscriber logs-on, and chooses ?Wake-up? @ 6:30 a.m.
? The system calls the subscriber, at 6:30 a.m. and of course being sponsored, it markets the Brand.
? In addition the system allows the user to enter a user defined reminder, for example ?Don't forget to take medication? ? and the IVR uses Text-to-Speech to deliver the reminder.
? Every reminder is preceded by 15 second brand / sales message. It even gives the caller the ability to request more information on the service, which is then immediately e-mailed to the user's account.

Technologically it is very straight forward, however from a marketing perspective it is brilliant, as it's constantly selling. Imagine having the ability to be in-front of your prospects 2-3 times per week, and it only cost you a few cents.
