Keywords are the lifeline and heart of our articles
As an author, we must learn the importance of using the right keywords and learn when to use them. Yet the process that is undertaken at times to find those keywords can feel like a daunting and troublesome task. It need not be so if we implement the current tools and tips available online to our advantage.
Google AdWords - Do join!
One of the greatest free tools on the internet today, in my personal opinion, is Google AdWords. Once you sign up for a free account, you have access to some of the greatest marketing tools available today. Inside the AdWords account is a tool called "Keyword Tool" - funny how that works. The keyword tool here is fantastic and will quickly assist you in researching keywords and niches that you will want to target in your marketing plan. AdWords host many tools, however, for an article writer the keyword should be a bookmark for you. Use it and learn how to filter the results for the exact results you aim to see.
Affiliate web resources
Another avenue you might want to go down is to join a quality article marketing affiliate group. I will caution you thought that there are many groups out there just looking to get you signed up to take you money and offer you very little at all in return. I have found a fantastic group that offers 1-on-1 personal training and more resources than you can shake a stick at. The information for this group can be found by clicking the links below.
Studying goes a long way
What you can learn today by doing a 5 to 15 minute study online can boggle the mind. Why not take a few minutes out of your busy day to do some simple keyword phrase searches in the major search engines to see what comes up? What you will find might surprise you and also help you to generate some keywords that you hadn't thought of yet. For example, go to Google and type in what you think will be the best keyword for what you want to write on. Click on the first couple of links and see what the authors are writing about. If it is a blog, you might also have the option to view the tags that the author used to write said article. Putting these pieces of the puzzle together can help you quickly gather keywords and keyword phrase and assist you in writing your article.
By using these three basic keyword generating tactics you can benefit yourself and save time in preparing your article for submission and review. These will also alleviate a possible large headache when you are first learning how to build keyword focused articles and in essence, help to make you a better writer!
