You might be shocked to discover that a lot of best selling body moisturizers contain ingredients that are harmful to your skin and dangerous for your health. Many of these so-called best skin moisturizer are not "best" for your skin at all.
Instead they are worst for your skin than leaving it untreated. You might think because celebrities tell you products are the best selling body moisturizers they are the product you will get excellent results from. But in fact celebrities are only telling you this because he or she is being paid a tidy sum to advertise the product for the manufacturer.
Many of these products contain questionable ingredients that you shouldn't apply to your skin. Some of these ingredients are:
1) Alcohols - These are dying to the skin and very irritating. They strip away the skin's natural acid mantle leaving you exposed to bacteria, moulds and viruses.
2) Mineral oil, liquid paraffin, paraffin wax, petrolatum - These will clog your pores and interfere with the skin's ability to remove toxins from your body.
3) Phenol carbolic acid - This substance can cause circulatory problems, convulsions, coma, and even death. You'll find this in many best selling body moisturizers.
4) Parabens - These are suspected of causing cancer. They may interfere with the body's endocrine system as well as causing skin rashes and allergic reactions. So called best skin moisturizers use these because they are a cheap preservative and can add longer shelf life to a product.
Ingredients to look for instead are:
1) Natural Vitamin E (Alpha-tocopherol) - An antioxidant that reverses the effects of aging on the skin. Vitamin E is also a natural preservative - a much better alternative than using parabens.
2) Grapeseed Oil - Another antioxidant in skin products that also creates an invisible film to keep moisture in.
3) Crodamol OP - A light emollient that soothes and softens the skin without clogging pores.
4) Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 - A special form of Coenzyme Q10, which penetrates the layers of the skin. This form of CoQ10 also has the ability to stimulate the skin to produce more collagen and elastin to help combat wrinkles and fine lines.
