During the cold winter season, we usually suffer from chapped lips, flaky skin, rough hands and a reddish face. And the reason for these conditions is that cold winter wind dries up our skin dermis. The strong blow of winter wind can also blow away our skin’s lipids.

That’s why for the coming winter season, you must be prepared and ready. Here are some of my skin tips that could help you prevent skin problems and maintain your smooth, soft, and young looking skin.

Skin care tip #1 Use and apply the right skin moisturizer.

Our skin always needs to be moisturized, especially in winter. Always keep a small bottle of moisturizer so when you need to re-apply, there’s always a moisturizer that you can put on.

It’s better to choose moisturizers with components of Cynergy TK™ that come from the wool of sheep that contain functional keratin. This ingredient can help replenish the skin and help in skin regeneration. It also can help stimulate the body to produce more collagen and elastin. So besides helping to keep the skin soft it also will eliminate wrinkles and fine lines.

Phytessence Wakame is also needed. It helps the skin fight the harmful enzymes that destroy the hyalunoric acid of our skin. This acid must be maintained to keep the natural collagens moisturized.

Lastly, active Manuka honey is a specialized honey from New Zealand. It has a great softening property that works deeply in skin and help lock in skin natural moisture.

You will be getting even more than just moisturizing benefits with this honey. Active mankua honey is also an antioxidant. It has anti fungal, antibiotic, anti viral and antiseptic properties. This amazing substance can heal a lot of skin pronlems, including eczema and psoriasis.

Skin care tip #2 Always keep your lips soft and smooth.

Petroleum jelly can help cure chapped lip. Just apply a small amount on your lips. Re-apply after you finish brushing your teeth. You can also rid off dead skin cell by using your toothbrush to brush them off lightly.

I personally suggest fruits that are high in Vitamin C. This vitamin is needed to keep chapped lips and dry skin soft and smooth.

Skin care tip #3 Get plenty of rest daily and a good night’s sleep every night.

This is a major factor in skin restoration. Natural skin repair happens when you are sleeping. You need to have enough sleep and plenty of rest for your skin to regenerate and rejuvenate itself.

Now that you know that you’ve learned a skin care tip or two you are ready to put these tips into practice. To find out more skin care information check out my web site listed in the bio section below.
