The only thing that matters and the only thing that truly works when trying to make money online through network marketing is to build a list. Every marketer who makes money online uses a very simple 3 step process in their business
1. Build a list.
2. Build a relationship with those on the list.
3. Monetize the list.
You use ad campaigns to build your list and you give them valuable information and resources to build a relationship with your list. After you have built up trust with those on the list by giving them solutions for their problems you monetize the list.
You make money by promoting affiliate products that are effective and if your list has been built correctly, those on the list will use those products and services and come to like and trust you since you helped them.
Offering a newsletter for those who opt-in on your list is a great way to grow your list faster. The type of valuable information you give in the newsletter will help you to target the right people for your list. The newsletter can be just a series of short emails.
Your messages will work better if they are in the form of stories. Stories can help others relate and can add emotion which will make them more memorable. Facts and figures are less memorable but if you combine them with stories then people will make decisions based on the emotions of the stories and the facts and figures will be backed by logic.
You will need 4 things if you are to do this though.
1. An autoresponder service for keeping your list and the delivery of your newsletter and promotions.
2. A newsletter that offers information that is truly valuable and beneficial to the reader.
3. You need a website to put your form for prospects to ask for the newsletter.
4. You need an advertising campaign or several to drive traffic to your site.
The real key is to provide information that really helps people and doesn't pitch your opportunity directly at them. You should spend whatever time it takes to put together information that over-delivers so you can really "wow" them because the alternative is bad info that will repel them instead of attracting them.
You don't even have to be an expert because you can find one and do an interview and then write it down. Just make sure to give the credit to whatever source you use and include all the best information.
Each message of your newsletter can be signed with your name, contact information, and your website and since you are not pitching your opportunity at them and giving them great information they will be glad to get your messages. Then you will be set up for a big payday if you ever want to promote a product with a large commission.
You can go to your sponsor and even above and find out who is the top recruiter, off to a fast start, your favorite guru, specializes in lead generation, the top trainer etc... You get the idea. Do several interviews and put them in your newsletter along with methods you are using that work. Come up with 10 or 12 email letters and send them out weekly.
If those on your list see your emails as helping solutions without being promotions they will be waiting for them each week and they will like and trust you. People do business with those they like and trust. If you are steadily helping them they will regard you as a leader and people want to join leaders in whatever they are doing.
This series of emails can also be wrapped up together one day to form an eBook that you can sell as your own product. You will be able to keep all of that money instead of just a commission. You will be able to get money out of your list for years to come if you have built it right and your newsletter is really helpful.
