It's generally agreed by numerous video game critics and gamers together that Bioshock is one of the greatest First Person Shooters during the past ten years. In a change from the original title, the Bioshock 2 game will put you responsible for the slow and steady lumbering Big Daddy. As gamers of the original game will understand, Rapture was produced with the plan of founding a society free of capitalistic government rules and spiritual moralities, but of course, it then went catastrophically wrong. As Bioshock hero Jack discovered, changed and mutated and disgusting monsters named Splicers were en masse in the district, rambling and slaughtering at will. These monsters were fundamentally all that was leftof the society.

In the Bioshock 2 game, Big Daddy undertakes the dangerous jobof returning to Rapture, looking into a chain of kidnappings. It seems that the many Little Sisters that managed to the top level in the original game are now being stolen away and taken back to the shadows of Rapture, and it's down to Big Daddy to crush the menace.

The Bioshock 2 game runs the groundwork and quirks of the first, with some important twists on the content. Graphical enhancements are also there, with the game performing a lot more smoothlysmoother, permitting for a seamless display of graphics. This contributes to the feeling of a great game, and creators 2K have pulled it off with aplomb.

Naturally being in control of a robot does allow varied gaming advantages, he is able to combine a range of drills and guns in one hand, while using the magical 'plasmid' with the other. Plasmid is employed to create e;ectricity, fire and also to control objects by telekinesis. These abilities are augmented throughout the game and levelled up as you progress forwards.

Plenty of skill and attention has been in the Bioshock 2 game. There are some updated locales in Rapture, it's now feasible to explore the sea bed and investigate the techniques surrounding the domain of the city. One niggle with the original was that the range of enemies was somehat limited and repetitive, and this has been corrected in the sequel with a selection of interesting nasties. Look out for Big Sister, who hinders your progress and will try and impede you at various junctures. 2K Games are wanting a distribution this Fall, and for all fans of the original, the Bioshock 2 game is being released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms and can't come quick Bioshock fans.
