A 3-D Experience for the Whole Family

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is scheduled to be released just around Thanksgiving. Although this film is not as sensational, as the previous two films, it is still a great film that all members of the family can enjoy. Ice Age 3 has incredible 3-d effects, which not only make the film playful but gives it exciting visual effects.

While watching this film, parents will be pleased to recognize the voices of famous actors such as, Ray Romano, Queen Latifah and Josh Peck. The film starts waiting for Manny to arrive. Because of this, Sid starts to feel left out and unwanted, so he decides to wander off by himself. While wandering he discovers three eggs, and decides to take them for his own, and mother the eggs. When the parents of the eggs return, Sid gets upset and takes off into the world that lies beneath. When Buck and the rest, notice that Sid is missing they decide to search for him. The remainder of the film is a race against the clock as the group rushes to find Sid so that they do not miss Ellie's birth of their newest family member.

This film takes the characters in a new direction, as they are more relaxed and together as a group, then in the first two Ice Age movies. This allows watchers to see a more fun, friendly and kind side of the characters instead of the usual intimidating characters that we are used to watching.

The 3-D effects give this movie added appeal, and it also gives the characters that you have grown to love a little more life. Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs also seems to bring together stories that were left hanging in the previous two films, and move them to a conclusion. Because of this, it is my favorite film in the series, and it also appears to be the last ever. Although nothing is 100% guaranteed, you never know what a movie studio will do.

Ice Age 3 is overall an enjoyable film that will have your family smiling and laughing from beginning to end. It is the perfect gift for the holiday season or for a movie after you have finished your Thanksgiving turkey.
