There are 3 panic disorder symptoms which can often have a very significant impact on your life if left unattended.

So often in this day and age we are all in a mad rush just to get by it is easy for our anxious feelings to become swept to one side and left. Generalized anxiety can relatively easily escalate to include the odd panic attack which in turn become regular occurrences and before we are aware of it we now have an anxiety disorder.

Repeated anxiety attacks

Anxiety attacks are very widespread and if you ask your friends if they have ever been through one then they would probably say yes. If however you are suffering from more frequent or recurring episodes then it is likely that what began as a general anxiety with an occasional panic attack is developing into a panic disorder. So this is the very first significant warning sign to look out for.

Major changes in your behavior

When you are suffering from more frequent panic or anxiety episodes you start to wonder just when the next one is going to happen. You may be out shopping or driving a car or even at the office. Maybe you have suffered one in the exact same location as previously on several occasions. If this is the case you would naturally avoid that situation because you are anxious that another attack might occur and this is the last thing that you want. You will therefore find that you begin to avoid certain places or situations. You may find that you are staying at home rather than going out with your family and friends.

Incessant fear that another attack could happen

You will be feeling extremely anxious most of the time in between these attacks and you are worried about having to go through yet another episode in the near future. What you will find is that the constant anxiety has a huge impact on your daily life. You may feel totally drained and your lose confidence in yourself.

The best thing that you can do is to gather as much knowledge and information that you can so that you understand exactly what is going on. Understand the process of escalation from general anxiety through the occasional panic attack to a serious panic disorder so that you can prevent this from happening or if necessary find a way to treat it.
