If you are involved in marketing and need help, you have arrived at your 21st Century Solution
for Network Marketing. This editorial is Part 1 of a 8 part series of articles
and videos designed to completely optimize you business.

The New Era of Network Marketing
At present, in the age of mass information people are constantly getting pitched to
new businesses and opportunities. Because of this, people have setup ways to protect themselves (e.g.pop-up blockers, spyware, adware, antivirus).
In the 21st Century there has never been open-access to more opportunity;
however, people have never had to be so cautious. So a person might ask, HOW
do you overcome this big hurdle in finding prospects for your business online?
The answer is straightforward: "Self-Branding."

Why is the "old way" is Pushing Daisies
Before we discuss self-branding it is vital to understand 98% of people
getting started in Network Marketing start off by making gigantic lists of friends
and family to enlist their business. There are two majors reasons this method is doomed to fail:
1) Calling friends and family to enlist your business opportunity is NOT marketing
2) When you run dry on family and friends'you are HIGH AND DRY.
Most people who come to Network Marketing intend to bring financial
prosperity TO their family. Friends and family are NOT looking for a new
business opportunity, and they do not contain the same FIRE that most
entrepreneurs possess--so it is doomed to fail eventually. As a matter of fact,
largely companies do not tell their distributors (or marketing executives)
that after 1 year, only 15% of those that join are still in the business.
So, let's say you do elect to put money on, using friends and family to build your business. When you run out of friends and family, you are basically out of business. Until you go out, hunting like a lunatic, looking for new prospects. People are weary of being SOLD, so you will be wasting practically 95% of your hard work. It is depressing and it wastes time.
The Solution: Develop into the HUNTED, not the HUNTER!

21st Century Concept- You, Inc.
You must comprehend that just because you are participate with a Network Marketing Company does NOT equate you are a business owner. Consider these 3 details:
1) You don't own the Products- The Company does.
2) You don't own the Company- Clearly.
3) You don't own your Downline- The Company can pull you from your opportunity at ANY TIME, and your efforts is left with the Company.
The ANSWER is to brand yourself. So that if your company "goes under" (as many have done, and will) you remain in control of your list and can take them with you no matter what company you join. To achieve this, you will have to take this principle to heart: People Join People-NOT Business Opportunities. People are interactive organisms and these 2 business magnet concepts will catapult you to the crown of the industry:
1) You MUST have valuable information to offer your prospects (without trying to sell them anything)
2) You MUST have a SYSTEM they can easily plug into that duplicates: Marketing, Advertising, and Training.

Your Branding Home Station- www.'You'.com
The BEST way to brand yourself in a way that makes you unique on Google (and attract to by prospects) is making your OWN blog. NOT a free blog such as linkedIn, but "You.com." Google LOVES blogs because they have great value on niche-specific subjects that better serves its users.
Steps to make your OWN blog:
1) Get a Domain. (You.com)
2) Get it Wordpress Hosted.
3) Get it Setup and Learn How to Make it Your OWN.

What to Blog About
Create USEFUL information that your people desire, and NOT what you want them to. Think: People who are shopping for axes ACTUALLY want to get rid of a tree. Give value before you pitch. We will talk about this in larger detail in Day #2 of the 21st Century Marketing Bootcamp. TAKE ACTION NOW, my friend.
